Our goal is to partner with corporations and foundations to raise the remainder of the funds needed for construction of an approximately 45,000 square foot addition and 45,000 square foot renovation to the historic 1951 Lakewood Elementary structure.
Your Support Is Critical
LEEF needs your help to bridge the financial gap to transform the facilities at Lakewood Elementary so that the educational experience for each student now, and well into the future, will meet the highest standards of 21st century education.
If we don't find a way to support the current successes in our own urban public school, they are at risk of fading away and the gains we have made to date could be lost. Overcrowding, aging inadequate facilities and dated technological infrastructure are just some of the key factors that will increasingly hinder even the most talented teachers from providing a world-class education at Lakewood Elementary.
